God is Our Refuge

"God is our refuge and strength,
always ready to help in times of troubles.
So we will not fear when earthquakes come
and the mountains crumble into the sea.
Let the oceans roar and foam.
Let the mountains tremble as the waters surge!"
Psalms 46:1-3

God is in complete control. He always has been, He always will be. You may feel that your life is out of control, that you are totally helpless in your circumstances. Rest assured, though, God has it all together. He knows what He's doing. He knows our circumstances. He is our refuge, our shelter, our protection in times of chaos, trouble, and hardship. He gives us the strength to make it through. We can count on Him and rely on Him in both good and bad times. And no matter what happens, His Kingdom will stand forever! Remember, the world will come to an end one day...according to His perfect plan. And even then, in the midst of total destruction, when the mountains crumble into the sea, God is our refuge! Be confident in Him. Don't fear. It's all under His control. And if you are fearful, pray asking Him to help you overcome that fear and trust Him.

So, like the writer of this Psalm, let us have a quiet confidence in the Lord of Heaven! He is our eternal refuge! He is our strength!

Grace and Peace!

In His Love, Cathy
