DNA is a Match!!!

The test results came in this morning!

STATEMENT OF RESULTS: Based upon the statical analysis of the above data, it is 3.68 times more likely (or a 78.63553627205% chance) that Tested Simpling 1 (Scott) and Tested Sibling 2 (Denise) are half biological siblings verses not related at all.

NOTE: Any result 50% or greater is desired to show a DNA match. This along with the pictures, Scott's original birth certificate, plus other information has confirmed for us and them that he is in fact their long lost brother.

Scott has officially be reunited with his biological family on his father's side. You can imagine the flurry of phone calls between he and his newly discovered sisters. To say that they are excited and happy is an understatement! To find out, according to his sisters, that 90% of them are believers, followers of Christ, priceless! They said they are very thankful that his adoptive parents gave him a good home AND that they raised him up in Christ!

More on this later! Thank you for your prayers over him, his birth family, and his adoptive family. God has ANSWERED 40+ years of prayer on their behalf and on Scott's behalf. AMAZING!

In His Love, Cathy

I understand the joy of a family REUNION - my brothers & sisters & I have experienced the vey same thing this week w/our father, stepbrother, & stepsister. All these years we've been kept apart, and now the JOY in being together! We've laughed so much this week, just enjoying being together - I think we've begun writing a new chapter in our lives. How sad it took the death of someone for it to happen, though.

Enjoy your EXTENDED family, my friend!

Thank you for your prayers and support. It is amazing to see God working right before our very eyes. Everything just falling so neatly into place, even the 'why' it happened the way it did.

More on this in my next blog:-)
