It's official! I've just booked (and paid) for our flights to Seattle, Washington in July. We're meeting Scott's birth family for the very first time. He's gone this week to Student Life Camp but I talked with him this morning about booking our flight. The man is so excited!
We've not had a real family vacation in years so we are very much looking forward to this with great anticipation. So our official departure will be July 13 and we'll return on July 22 in the wee hours of the morning. Two of our children have never flown on an airplane so that will be a fun experience for them. Please be praying for all of us and for his birth and adopted family. This is a trip of a lifetime, a journey he has waited 40+ years to take.
