What a Sweet Day: On Today's Baptisms

What a sweet day in the LORD. Over 40 brothers & sisters in Christ were baptized this morning! Each with a unique journey, unique testimony, unique background, various ages...but all united as one in the Lord Jesus Christ. Each were sought by the Shepherd. YOU were sought by the Shepherd. I was sought by the Shepherd. He is not willing lose a single one!

"So Jesus told them this story: 'If a man has a hundred sheep and one of them gets lost, what will he do? Won't he leave the ninety-nine others in the wilderness and go to search for the one that is lost until he finds it? And when he has found it, he will joyfully carry it home on his shoulders. When he arrives, he will call together his friends and neighbors, saying, 'Rejoice with me because I have found my lost sheep.' In the same way, there is more joy in heaven over one lost sinner who repents and returns to God than over ninety-nine others who are righteous and haven't strayed away!' "

Aren't you glad that we serve a LORD who seeks the one? Aren't you glad He searched for you?

Heaven is rejoicing! Let us rejoice in those who have repented and returned to God. Let's go out and help rescue sheep. Pray for someone you know who needs Christ. Pray for the right words and the courage to speak up as a witness for Christ. Rely on God to provide the opportunity and the words.

He is so good!

In His Love, Cathy
