I wanted to take a moment to Honor God and the special people He sent to help with VBS. We had 30 to 40 volunteers - people who were willing to share their wonderful talents, gifts, abilities, and time to help with the mission God set before us. To have so many precious people to volunteer in a single event is a FIRST in our children's ministry. God sent the right people and placed them in the right place. What's more, EVERYONE who helped, LOVED IT!!! There is nothing more rewarding than serving Christ! This is especially true when working with children. They are so loving and sweet! What is especially AWESOME is that God moved upon the hearts of many children who came and as a result, many indicated that they either asked Christ to be Lord and Savior or that they want to know more about Jesus! The Holy Spirit moved in MIGHTY ways this week! AMEN!
THANK YOU to everyone who prayed, supported, and provided resources. A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who came out and helped with our VBS. YOUR help was so critical in the successful mission of VBS. God is certainly using THIS ministry, OUR church, and YOU to further His Kingdom!
One day in heaven, you may come across someone you recognize, they turn to you and say, "When I was a child, you told me about Jesus. You prayed with me. You loved me. You took time with me. You helped me. It's because of your faithfulness that I am here today! Thank you."
This is the impact we have been called to!
