HALLELUJAH! Mount Junk Pile is no more! Our garage was given the most thorough cleaning it has EVER experienced...right down to power washing the floors, doors, and shelves! We took 3 loads of stuff to Benevelance. We have 1 big trailor load of trash, mostly boxes, to haul off. I was mercilous in supervising the disposal of items in the garage. Let's just say, I wasn't very popular with my husband nor my children during the process. "Can we keep this?" was met with a crushing "NO!" more times than I can count. In the end, it was all worth it. In the words of my husband, "Thank you for being hardnosed about the stuff in the garage. The garage looks really good now."
But now there is the utility room...and the flower beds, and the back yard, and HIS closet, and ....
Home Depot, here we come!
