Our first night of Ice Cream & Jesus was a big hit with the kids! We had 17 children and 4 adults who came out last night. We had a wonderful Bible Study, "Beginning the Christian Adventure." We studied Old Testament prophecies about the Messiah and learned how Jesus fulfilled them all - over 300 of them! The children learned that without any doubt, Jesus Christ is the Son of God!
The children were just awesome and we also began learning the Books of the New Testament through the "New Testament Bible Rap" song. And of course, we wrapped up the night with delicious ice cream treats!
Ice Cream & Jesus will continue to run on Wednesday nights through Wednesday, August 6 starting at 6 p.m. We'll meet at Baskin Robbins on Wednesday, August 13 at 6 for an ice cream celebration!
We'll pick back up again on Wednesday, August 20 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at church, where we'll start a new Bible Study on "Beginning the Christian Adventure."
